Besides Viet Orient Hospitality, the sole representative specializing in hotel setup and management consulting, this program includes representatives from the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism; representatives from the Departments of Tourism and Tourism Promotion Centers of Hanoi, Thai Nguyen, Ninh Binh, and Ha Nam; representatives from over 60 travel agencies; the UNESCO Hanoi Travel Club; and media outlets such as the Tourism Newspaper, Tourism Magazine, and VTV3 (VTV Trip program).
During the program, on August 17th and 18th, the delegation will visit and survey sites in Xin Man, Hoang Su Phi, and Quang Binh districts, including: the Nam Choong hot spring eco-tourism area in Xin Man district; the terraced rice fields of Ban Phung village; the Nam Hong community tourism village in Hoang Su Phi district; participate in the 2019 Quang Binh District Boat Racing Festival; experience rowing on the Chung River; and offer incense at the provincial-level historical and cultural relic, Ban Chun Temple.
The conference "Developing Distinctive Tourism Products in Regional Linkages" took place on August 19th, with the aim of proposing solutions and development directions for distinctive tourism products of Ha Giang province and signing a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in tourism development.
Viet Orient Hospitality signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in tourism product development and business experience sharing with five travel agencies and the People's Committee of Ha Giang province.
Speaking with a reporter from Ha Giang Television, Mr. Nguyen Van Quang – General Director and CEO of Viet Orient Hospitality – shared: “The survey program and conference on “Developing Unique Tourism Products in Regional Linkages” introduced by the Ha Giang Department of Tourism this time is an opportunity for the province to promote and connect unique tourism products between localities in the region, contributing to attracting more and more tourists to Ha Giang. Through this survey and conference, we realize that Ha Giang is a province with great potential in culture, geography, climate, and landscape for developing ecotourism; however, the current tourism development is not commensurate with the province's potential. Conditions regarding transportation, accommodation facilities, and support services are still limited, especially accommodation facilities which need to be prioritized. Therefore, as a hotel setup and management consulting company with extensive experience in initiating, establishing, and operating hotels in the mountainous region of Northern Vietnam (Sapa), we "I am very willing to share my experience and cooperate with investors who intend to invest in accommodation facilities and develop tourism in highland tourist destinations in Vietnam such as Ha Giang province."
